Saturn Car

Saturn Company was established by General Motors in 1985. It was launched to give a tough compitition for Japanese import sedans. the name was give to vehicle when a compact-sedan was design by GM in 1982, called the Saturn project. The first Saturn car, however, was only released and driven in 1990.

First sedan car was S- series car which is entirely different from the other Gm cars. With the use of dent- resistant plastic materials for its body and 1.9 L saturn I4 engine it gained much regonitin in the car industry.There has not been any major changes in design since long time when they have been using the plastic body panels that were flexible. But these plastic body panels have now been discontinued and the company has started making larger sedans thus bringing about a change in design.

Saturn Vehicle believes in the principle “people first.” and with this motto they designed car keeping individual in mind.Different cars models developed by saturn are saturn relay, saturn sky, saturn Ion, saturn vue, S- series ,Saturn L-series and many more .

Saturn cars available are :

• Saturn RELAY : It is a 4-door, 7-passenger mini van, available in 3 trims, ranging from the FWD 1 to the FWD 3.
• Saturn SKY : It is a 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in one trim only, the Convertible.
• Saturn ION : It is a 4-door, up to 5-passenger family coupe, sports coupe, or family sedan, available in 9 trims, ranging from the 2 Sedan Manual to the Red Line Quad Coupe.
• Saturn VUE : It is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 2.2L FWD 4-Cylinder Manual to the 3.5L AWD V6.
