| Mitsubishi Eclipse of fourth generation will be released at the North
American International Auto Show for the 2006 model year. During late 2003 and 2004, the details of fourth
generation were revealed and at 2005 the car was shown at Detriot Auto Show. Mitsubishi Eclipse
4th generation
(2006-present)cars are
Eclipse GS, Eclipse GS Spyder, Eclipse GT, Eclipse GT Spyder and Eclipse SE.
Technical Features
- 263hp(193.9kW) 3.8L MIVEC V6 and a 165hp(123kW) 2.4L 14 are the features of new model.Both are derived from 2004+ Mitsubishi PS platform.
- Eclipse shares many mechanical components from 2004+ Mitsubishi PS platform.
- The new Eclipse is like 2004 Galant only.
- 263hp and 260ft.lbf are produced by V6.
