Isuzu Trooper was first manufactured in the 1983 by Isuzu Motor Limited of Japan. It is a mid-size Sports Utility Vehicle and
which is variously known as Isuzu Bighor, Holden Jackaroo. Isuzu has mainly two generations, the first one spanning from 1983
- 1991 and he second one spanning from 1992 - 2002. In the year 1986, Isuzu Trooper has introduced a 2.3L engine which is a vast
improvement over the previous engines. In the year 1987, it is one of the first company to produce fuel-injected engine, a
2.6L for the Trooper. In the later years for the first generation models they have included 4-speed automatic transmission, a
6-cylinder engine sourced frofm General Motors with 7.5 in (191 mm) differential.
In the year 1996, Isuzu have completely redesigned the Trooper with new technology, more powerful, more luxurious. It uses a
3.2L single-overhead-cam which put out 190hp. In the year 1998, it has introduced dual-overhead-cam which is a 3.5L engine
produces 215 hp.
