Hyundai started producing hyundai Accent(X3) since 1995. It is a subcompact car produced in South Korea. It is the repalcement of Hyundai Excel and it was still called as Hyundai Excel in the markets of Netherlands and Australia and also with Hyundai pony. Hyundai Accent has been the longest-running subcompact sold in north America. It has made a record in the market of imported car. In Australia, the X3 proved as third best-selling vehicle in the country in the years 1996, 1998.
In 2005, Hyundai introduced a new generation Accent at New York International Auto Show. They have introduced new features like CWT engine, larger interior, new exterior look and the upcoming versions are expected in 2006 as 2007 model which is a three-door hatchback version. Hyundai Accent includes 6 airbags, power steering with tilt, four-wheel disc antilock brakes, and a 6-speaker CD stereo.
Hyundai introduced a new-generation Accent at the 2005 New York International Auto Show. A new exterior, larger interior, and CVVT engine are the notable features. A hybrid version is expected in 2006 as a 2007 model
