launched in 2004 and was developed by the Ford Motor Company.

built in Kansas city, Missouri. Ford's Mercury marque sold a similar vehicle which is the Mercury
Mariner Hybrid and a third variation in 2006, Mazda Tribute Hybrid will be sold by
Mazda. On the market, as of 2006 the hybrid sysytem is among the most advanced
available. This system can switch automatically between pure electric power, pure gasoline
engine power or a combination of electric battery it means it is a "full" hybrid electric system. This gasoline engine
operating together, for maximum performance and efficiency
at all speeds and loads.
