• The impact absorbing structure providing a body construction that can help effectively absorb energy in the event of a front, rear, or side collision.
• ABS, front airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, and 3-across rear headrests are standard on all Scion products.
• Side airbags are an available option on the xA and tC.
• The xA, xB, and tC vehicles are all front wheel drive vehicles
• Scion recommends Unleaded gasoline, Octane Rating 87 or higher.

  1. The xA and xB both have 1.5L DOHC 16-valve 4 cylinder engines with variable valve timing with intelligence (VVT-i),which produces 103 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 101 lb-ft of Torque @ 4,200 rpm.
  2. The tC has a 2.4L DOHC 16-valve 4 cylinder engine with VVT-i, which produces 160hp @ 5,700 rpm and 163 lb-ft of Torque @4000 rpm.

Where are Scion cars manufactured ?

• The Scion 2004 xA and xB are both manufactured at the Toyota Takaoka plant located in Japan.
• The Scion 2005 tC is manufactured at the Toyota Tsutsumi plant in Japan.
