Its vehicles were developed by Hyundai Motor Company and all engines and transmission were designed and engineered by Hyundai. Hyundai Motor Company was first started in 1947 with the name Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co. and its is one of the leading auto sales company in the Korea and which exports its vehicles to around 190 countries worldwide. In Ulsan, Korea's southeast coast, Hyundai operates world's largest automobile manufacturing facility.
In 1996, Hyundai opened a Research Center known as Namyang Technology which has complete facitities for testing all the products with 2-8 mile oval test track and now it operates around 8 research centers all over the world.
